So after my marathon blogging efforts of this morning, we spent a Sunday mostly here working on odds and ends projects. I got the kids closet and old clothes sorted and cleaned out (FINALLY, just need one tote for Mikayla's stuff yet...) and Grant got lots of playtime in with Thing 1 and Thing 2. I think he might have read 3 dozen books to Noah this morning... Then we met up with some of the gang for dinner to get the chance to see the Kunkle's one more time. Now that they're up in Maryland we've really been missing them and are glad to get to spend any time we can with them. We're glad that there's an end in sight and that they'll be back here permanently eventually. And it was wonderful to get to see some more of the Florida Fam, too, since we really haven't had the chance since we got home from Ohio. It really reminds me how great it is to have a good group of friends to rely on... More tomorrow.
New kitchen color (yay, finally!) Grant did a fabulous job on it while we were gone
It's not as orange as it looks, I promise. It took awhile to grown on me, but especially at night, I really like it now
Noah had to say 'cheese'
Paint in the bathrooms (yay finally!)
And new fixtures
And cabinetry, too!
My reading nook in the bedroom. My double papasan is one of the best furniture purchases EVER!
We re-did the guest bath, too
Loving the color
Noah told me he had to say 'cheese' again
Mikayla looking more than a little adorable
Did you say I'm going to get to eat, Mom?
This makes me think that we should change the phrase to "faster than a speeding Mikayla"

I love seeing all the pictures - and I was there for many of them! Thanks for making them permanent. Brings all of you a little closer to home every time I see pictures and read about everyone. Love, Mom
