This is going to have to be a quick post tonight as the Grey's Anatomy premiere is literally minutes away! (Yay!!!) I have the best husband in the whole world who has officially released me from "mommy duty" tonight so in a few minutes my big bowl of popcorn and I are going to go off and watch two uninterrupted hours of my favorite show ever! Hopefully it will live up to my expectations, which at this point are for it to be better than the first half of last season, which shouldn't be hard :)
Noah and I had a good day around here today. He got a good scare in today. I was in the shower this afternoon when I suddenly heard a loud "thump." I wasn't quite sure what it was, but didn't hear it again, so I figured that it was the wind outside or something. A few minutes later I heard "thump, whump, bang, etc." repeatedly. I went tearing out of the shower and into the bedroom only to find Noah in his cradle doing "the worm" and kicking his feet like it was going out of style. I'm lucky he didn't kick out the bottom. He was in a great mood and just apparently wanted to make sure that I was paying attention.
I'm so glad tomorrow is Friday! No big plans for the weekend at this point, but we have decided to go ahead and get the new laptop so I'm looking forward to that. Tomorrow is officially the last "make-up" day at Harris as well, so in two more weeks I'll be glad to have Grant at home every other Friday again. It's been weird not having him around on Friday's. It's strange that that has become something I just expect. I think I've missed having him around almost as much as he misses being off.
Alright, off to watch the premiere!! More pictures tomorrow, I'm still working on the cookie monster thing!
