Back to the humdrum

After all the excitement of the weekend, it was back to the daily happenings down here in Palm Bay. I have to admit, most of me is really relieved to be back to the same old same old. But then I got huge news; Dad and Scott are coming to visit this weekend! Bring back the craziness!!

I'm so excited we're going to have company again. It was so good to spend time with Sarah last month, and this month we'll get some good time with Dad and Scott. Then next month we're off to Ohio where we're going to see my family and Gary and Keith, too. Since before Sarah came we hadn't seen anyone since Christmas, we're thrilled for the next few weeks. As much as the same old same old is nice, I'll take visitors or us going visiting any time :)

It was a pretty low key day around here. Back to work (though it's a short week since both Grant and I are off on Friday) where things aren't too incredibly busy at the moment, just the normal craziness :-p The boss lady is going to be gone for nearly two weeks starting next Monday, so I'm planning for chaos to ensue on Thursday morning as we try to know everything about everything before she's out of contact for awhile.

We got a brief rain shower here this afternoon (which I'm doubly happy about as both the lawn and the new plants got a drink) and apparently the temperature is going to "drop" for the next few days. It might (gasp of shock) only be in the low 70's during the day. I know all you people in the midwest are dealing with a late season snow storm, so this isn't me complaining. I guess in the past three years my blood has warmed up just like a native, though.

I'm sitting here gazing out my front window, thrilled that now that the awful bushes are gone I can actually see out the window and slowly watching the storm clouds roll in. Maybe it'll rain over night. Totally the best sleeping weather...

Alright, enough of my senseless ramblings (though if you're reading this you're completely used to my ramblings by now) I should head off for a little playtime with the kiddo, doggie and hubby. Sorry there's only a few pictures today, I think I more than made up for it yesterday, though ;-) Until tomorrow - enjoy the pictures!

Pippi needed to be walked (Aunt Mary, if you're reading this he LOVES pushing that truck around and it has made my life so much easier as it keeps him occupied for quite a while)
