Quite awhile back, at one of our many trips to Michael's, Miesje and I had picked up some cute little $1 birdhouses for the kiddos to paint. Since then, we've just never taken the opportunity to do it. Well that all changed this morning!
Miesje (who's half way there - yay for Baby C 2.0!) and Coen came over and we broke out the paint supplies to finally paint those houses! I think that Noah really enjoyed himself, you'll have to check out the pictures and let me know what you think.
Otherwise, we had LOTS of fun playing today. Noah and I spent quite a bit of time playing with fire trucks and the dump truck. His imagination is really starting to kick into high gear and it's fun to experience that with him.
Funny story of the day: When Shell and Dudley went to Universal they brought Noah back a Spongebob book. In the book, Squidward asks for peace and quiet, and in the book, you turn this wheel to give him earplugs. So Noah and I are turning the wheel, and I ask him what Squidward wants and he tells me "ear binkies" It took me a minute, and then I started laughing hysterically as I realized that Mom and Shell call a pacifier a 'plug' while I call it a 'binky'. Only my Noah Joe....
I managed to finish organizing the kid's closet today (shudders at the thought of having to do it again anytime soon...) and also got my crafting closet cleaned out and organized (it will actually function, now!). Now to just organize each individual craft (I got the sewing stuff straightened out at least) and I'll be a happy girl :)
Doing pumpkins with the Florida Fam this week, so I'm starting to think about the stuff I need to get together for that. I am not going as all out as I normally do (in fact it's going to be REALLY low key) but I have been toying with the idea of building a haunted gingerbread house with Noah. I think he might really like that... Anyone have any thoughts?
Alright, more tomorrow, but no promise of pictures because I see that blogger says it will be disabling its image uploading ability tomorrow. I will try to remember to get here early and get pictures up, though :) Until then...

About the haunted gingerbread house - I think you should talk with Aunt Sarah. I hear she knows all there is to know about gingerbread houses!
