So it's official - my nearly five month old son is smarter than I am. I have to start this all off by saying I love being a mom. There is not one day, even when everything else is crummy, that I don't look at that little and just grin. Each and every smile and giggle makes it all worth while. And there is nothing that I wouldn't do for a giggle. This includes laying on my kitchen floor this afternoon and acting like a total fool in line for the register at Wal-Mart last night. He's getting such a personality lately, and he's got his own way of doing things and his own thought processes.
Case in point - last Friday. Now that Noah is rolling over like a pro in both directions (Saturday he started on his blanket in the living room, I walked away for thirty seconds and came back to find him wedged under his swing) we're encouraging or giving him the idea to crawl. So I put his rings just outside his grasp. He stayed there, really annoyed for awhile. Then he started pulling the blanket towards him and thus pull the rings toward him! I asked him what he was doing and he just grinned at me. What a stinker!
This weekend I also helped fall come to Florida. Or at least our house :-) I pulled out all of our fall decorations and decorated the house after I cleaned on Saturday morning. Now if the temperatures will only drop a little bit. They say we're getting a cold front (to be read 75 instead of 85 degrees) later this week.
Alright, I'm off for the evening. Enjoy the pictures :)
