Mid-June?

Uggghh, can you believe today is already the 15th of June? Where is the time going? I cannot believe the year is nearly half over already. I know I haven't been feeling too well that past few weeks and kind of out of it in general, but I feel like I've missed a lot more than just the past few weeks. I need things to slow down, I'm really not ready for the rest of this year to fly by...

I don't have anything too exciting to report from here. We ended up just hanging out around here on Saturday after we got the house cleaned up a bit. It was nice to have a low key day where I didn't feel like I needed to spend it curled up in a ball feeling like death. I'm starting to feel better for the most part (other than nausea, which I can mostly handle) and the fatigue is much better.

Sunday Grant tackled the lawn (which was seriously nearly an all day project) and I met up with the gang for lunch. I would like to think that I'm usually pretty easy going in a restaurant, I don't throw fits or usually complain about food or service, and maybe it was just the hormones, but I don't care if there were 13 of us, there is no reason that lunch at Chili's should take two hours! Or that people at the table should have to get their own silverware, napkins and drinks. Or that the chips (which took an hour to get to the table) should be stale or that I should find rotten lettuce in my salad. I was not a happy camper and wrote the corporate headquarters quite an email about it yesterday. I know I wasn't the only one at the table upset about it (just the most vocal) so I don't think it was my over-reactive hormones. And in all fairness, it wasn't our usual Chili's. Won't be going back there anytime soon... A few of the girls and I were supposed to go and see a movie after lunch, but given that lunch took so long we completely missed the movie. How frustrating....

Back to work for both Grant and I today, but otherwise nothing new or exciting to report. I see the OB again tomorrow so I'll have an update then. I'm hoping the meds have my blood pressure at least somewhat under control by now. Alright, have to go track down my little monster (I'm pretty sure Daddy has him in the bathtub) and make sure everything else here is under control. Until tomorrow, enjoy the pictures!

He was carrying his sunglasses all over the house

Look Mom, I'm Joe Cool!
