It's going to be a hot one here in Florida today. It's only 8:30 and it's already bordering on miserable. For the most part, I really don't mind the heat. It's just the dang humidity. I should not be sweating through my shirt ten seconds after I walk out the front door. It's just wrong...
Anyway, sorry I didn't get a post up last night, but I was watching the disaster that was Game 7 of the Stanley Cup play-offs. I am incredibly disappointed in the Wings. How do you go from leading the series 2-0 to losing in Game 7? Unacceptable. Especially against Pittsburg! Ugggh, my nausea that's been lessening the last few days was re-rearing its ugly head with a vengeance after having to watch that mess.
After Grant got home we caught up with Miesje, Cameron and Coen at El Chico for dinner. The boys got balloons, which I think was the highlight of their evening. Especially once Noah figured out if he hit the balloon it went sailing all over the place, even hitting Coen in the head. It kept them distracted through most of dinner and they both were very well behaved.
Not sure what the big plans are for the weekend. The launch got scrubbed this morning, but hopefully that just means it will occur at a time that is a little more convenient to watch it. (7:15 in the morning, on a Saturday, come on NASA!) My house is in need of some major cleaning and I think the lawn is going to consume the house soon, so I'm sure that's on the top of my and Grant's respective priority lists for today. Doesn't that just sound super exciting? :-p
Alright, I should head out here. The kiddo is playing with his train next too me, but you never know when he's going to take off on a brisk run around the house. Yesterday, he walked all the way from his bedroom at the back of the house to our bedroom at the front without one stumble or fall. He really does crack me up how proud of himself he is. His new favorite game is to "chased" around the house while he's walking. When the dog plays, it's even better. Ok, really getting out of here now. Enjoy the pictures!

Watch out on that "chase" game. It was Cullen's favorite! He would have you chase him around the house for hours if you could hold out that long! Love you, ckb
