An Update

Hey everyone, sorry that we've kind of been missing in action for a few days. I don't have any new pictures for you, but I thought I'd drop by a leave a quick post. Things have been alright around here, but I'm still not feeling 100% and so it's hard for me to get a few minutes that I'm actually feeling well enough to blog. It's not that I feel so terrible, it's just that I don't want to get on here and whine :) So onward and upward with the latest goings on from around here!

It has been hot hot hot down in Florida! The heat index on Sunday and Monday topped out at 107 and 109 respectively. That is just ridiculous! So Noah and I have been staying at home, enjoying the air conditioning. We're hoping for rain in the next day or so to cool things down.

We had a good Father's Day. Grant really liked the mug that Noah made and enjoyed his coffee out of it on Sunday morning. We also made cinnamon rolls and it was a toss up which of my boys enjoyed that more. Noah ate a whole roll all by himself! And then Grant and I got to deal with the after effects of the sugar later :-p Actually Noah was good all day. I bought a watermelon on Saturday and the kiddo managed to eat half of it by himself by Sunday night. A growing boy, I tell ya.

Speaking of Noah, he's been learning all kinds of new things lately. If you ask him, he can now point out his toes, belly, nose and mouth. Such a smart kid! And he's walking even better now than he was a few days ago. He is picking up so many things every day; it's like he's a little sponge...

Alright, I'm going to head out. I'll try to get this better updated, but no promises. Make sure you check out the video Grant posted yesterday of the Scary Lion we have, though :)
