When I was in grade school I was in a choir that traveled and performed all over the place. We sang in lots of different languages depending on where we were and for what purpose we were singing. Anyway, we made a couple of different trips to French speaking Canada. We sang at a huge music festival in Trois Riveres, and I specifically remember singing this one song in French. It was like the people's anthem or something, apparently really well known. Point of my rambling, we asked about the translation at one point. I distinctly remember one of the lines being something about "the frogs sing liberty" I had (and still have) no idea what that means but it has stuck with me. So today, as I sit typing this, with the frogs signing very noisily outside my window, I'm wondering if they're singing liberty. We've gotten a lot of rain here over the past week or so and it has brought the frogs out in full force. They are constantly noisy. Not sure what they're singing about, but dang are they noisy.
Anywho, I don't have anything super exciting to report from here. As you can see, Noah is walking EVERYWHERE! He is much steadier on his feet now than he was even a few days ago. And he is learning all kinds of other things, too. He now knows what the elephant says, and the bunny and the snake. (We're working on the monkey) He has also started saying "papa" and making the sign for "All done" The kid absolutely cracks me up. He is so quick and is picking things up like a sponge. He never fails to amaze me.
I had another doctor's appointment today. My blood pressure was somewhat better (not super scary like last week, just partially scary :-p) so they've increased my meds again. On an up note I don't have to go back to the nephrologist's office for a month unless something changes significantly. Still have to see the OB next week and then have labs drawn in three weeks, but oh well, there'll be a week off in there maybe :-p On a much more positive note, my potassium and magnesium levels were normals, so at least we're not battling that deficiency at this point. HUGE sigh of relief that no IV potassium is required yet. I'm feeling OK otherwise, mostly just battling nausea. But that too will pass!
We had a very quiet weekend. Well at least I did. Grant wrestled with the kiddo so I could rest and keep it low-key. He's such a good daddy! Right now I hear them in there splashing away in the bath, having quite the time. Yet again, I am incredibly thankful that I don't have to do this by myself and that I have an amazing partner to help me out. As Mom would say "Thank you God for Grant"
Alright, I need to get going. Still plenty to get done tonight. Until tomorrow then, enjoy the pictures :)

Perhaps the frogs were singing liberty for you - that you do not currently have a potssium problem - that's liberty! Or maybe for Noah and the liberty of his feet as he is facing forward in the car seat! I'm sure Noah is feeling very liberated!!! Maybe the frogs are teaching Noah a new song . . .
Oh, the days of the Honor Choir! I can hardly believe it will be two years in September since Andre's death.
Yet again, G-ma Sue is right on target. Noah looks so big boy facing forward. Good to hear everything is going well w/G 2.0. Love you,Grammy
