Candlelight Shopping Downtown

So tonight we took the kiddos to downtown Melbourne for some candlelight shopping. Usually all the shops downtown close around 5pm, but tonight they stayed open until 9pm and there were lots of performers out, a carriage and other things to see. We met up with Giselle, Nathan and Ethan and browsed up and down the main street of Melbourne. The kids enjoyed themselves, Giselle got the hot chocolate she's been waiting a year for (:-) ) and I found a store (which was unfortunately closed) to check out for beads and found another store that sold bath bombs of which I picked up a few. That's enough to make any Mama happy knowing that tomorrow is her morning 'off' to sleep in and then take a nice luxurious bath!

Tomorrow we're going to be decorating a gingerbread house with Noah in the morning which everyone is really really excited about. I got it built earlier today so hopefully it'll be good and set in place by the time we're ready for it tomorrow. Have I mentioned lately that I LOVE CHRISTMAS! I've finally been catching up on my sleep a bit and am really just enjoying all the things that we've been doing around here lately. The kids have been good, Grant and I are both enjoying spending time with them and overall you've got one happy Gatchel family! Lots of pictures tomorrow!
