Halloween!! (A few hours late...)

We were out celebrating Halloween last night with the Florida gang and it got a little late to post by the time we got home, so just pretend the date on this post is October 31st :-)

We had a pretty good Halloween. We didn't have any trick or treaters at the house last year, so we decided to head over to the Kunkle's after dinner at Mighty Mushroom (yum!) to see if they'd have any better luck. I think they had a couple dozen or so kids, so that was fun. I have the house in Ohio had over 400 kids in an hour - CRAZY!

And now that we're all too old to trick or treat, we were discussing our own favorite Halloween costumes (my Mom made me the coolest Rainbow Brite costume EVER!) and some of our favorite memories. I have to say that one of my favorite funny things was when Daddy took us trick or treating. We always "mapped out" a plan of the best houses to hit and how to get there in the most efficient way possible. Also,we always had our own buckets, but then Daddy would carry a "dump bag" and every so often we would dump our buckets into the big bag and then go up to the house with an empty bucket and think maybe the person giving out candy would see and feel sorry for us, like we had just gotten started, and give us more candy :-) Sneakiness was never a problem for my siblings and I (hehehe) Oh, and just in case you were wondering, Grant said that one year he went as a weather map.

Alright, enjoy the pictures. The kiddo is wearing his Halloween shirt that Brie got him. Hope that everyone else out there had a fantastic Halloween as well!
