So I've had "one of those days" I've just felt bombarded with one thing after another for some reason. Nothing really bad happened per say, it's just been non stop. I'll be glad to crawl into bed tonight and try again tomorrow.
On a very positive note, I am officially finished with the Christmas shopping (yay!!) Only a few more things to wrap, and then I can just enjoy things from here on out. Noah and I ran around like banchees today finishing things up. I've decided that it must be God's plan to make first babies "good" babies, otherwise you'd never have another one. He is so patient getting in and out of the car and running in and out of stores. We went to no less than nine places today and he only started getting a bit cranky towards the end because he was hungry. Otherwise, good as gold. So I supposed even though it's been a long day, it could have been a ton worse if he would've been a handful. And today, I am thankful for that blessing.
On a funny note, and because I have no problem telling that some days the kid really is smarter than I am, I have to share my experience with Noah's new cup. Last night when we were out shopping we bought him his first sippy cup for juice and water. I let him try it out this morning as he ate his cookie. So I fill it with half juice half water after I've washed it out, no problems. Then I thought I'd test it out just to make sure it worked. So I'm holding it upside down, sucking as hard as I can, no juice... I took the thing apart two or three times, nada... So I finally gave up and handed it to Noah, thinking that I must be missing something obvious. I was (imagine that) It's a straw with a no spill guard, so of course nothing was coming out of it. Noah grabbed it up, stuck the straw in his mouth and started sucking away. I don't know why I thought I needed to tip it upside down. (DUH!) These darn kid things, they're just too much for this Mom's brain to handle some days...
Alright, I hear the boys running the bath water for the third time (sometimes it's better to just not ask questions) so I think I better go break up the bath, feed the kid and put both of us to bed. Here's hoping tomorrow will be much less eventful. Sorry there's not too many pictures, enjoy the ones there are :) Oh, and my new glasses came in so I'm working away on my computer headache free tonight. Yet another blessing today offered in its hecticness :)
